Spanish Lessons & Tutoring

I found my passion for speaking Spanish over 15 years ago and haven’t looked back. I started learning Spanish as my third language in high school and continued to study this beautiful language in university and beyond.

My acquisition of Spanish flourished when I decided to move to Mexico in the third year of my undergrad. To this day, I see this as the most valuable experience of my life. Since then, I’ve vagabonded through Latin America, worked with Mexican migrant workers, translated for new immigrants and have taught Spanish both academically and professionally.

I have discovered that with patience, dedication, and perseverance, we are all capable of learning another language.

Language is a natural instinct that we only have to activate to start seeing the results. Learning Spanish can expand your cultural awareness and appreciation. As you learn about the Spanish language, you will also learn about the rich history, traditions, and cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. This exposure to diverse cultures can broaden your perspective, increase your empathy and understanding, and provide you with a global perspective.

From experience, learning Spanish can provide you with a competitive edge in the job market. The ability to speak Spanish is a valuable skill that is in high demand across various industries, and countries including Canada and the US.

Semi-private and small group sessions can be arranged if students are at the same academic level. Feel free to ask me about semi-private or group tutoring sessions.
